Our supervisors and operatives are all trained to the highest of standard and to all current asbestos regulations. Ensuring that our projects are carried out to the highest standards, and that they follow regulations.
We make sure that any work will not only be carried out to a highly professional standard but also in line with the best practices and in the safest manner possible.
All of our asbestos removal team undertake relevant refresher (UKATA) training on dealing with asbestos, and are subject to bi-annual medicals; essential practice when working with asbestos.
Our asbestos surveyors are also highly qualified with a minimum of 5 years of experience and proficiency, proven by our contractors been proud of the fact they hold the BOHS P402 certificate.
In addition to this, the competence of our asbestos management team has been ultimately proven by being BOHS P405, P406 and P407 trained.
With our entire specialist training our team hold a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card and are trained in the following which are relevant to their tasks:
- Manual handling
- Working at heights PASMA / IPAF
- Fire safety
- Supervisors are Qualified First Aiders and have completed the site supervisory safety training scheme (SSSTS)
- Asbestos operative and supervision
Contract managers additionally have undertaken the site management safety training scheme (SMSTS)
All of our operatives comply with the company behavioural safety programme SFSH (Safe First Safe Home Every Day)
