The cost to remove asbestos all depends on the job itself. It can vary depending on what we need to do. We can carry out a survey and then discuss whether it has to be removed or it may be a case where it can be left if you can guarantee it will not be removed.

Will I need to relocate if asbestos is present?

We can see how much is present and then decide what actions need to be taken. We do not want to inconvenience you too much. Give us a call and we can arrange a good time to assess the situation and then we can go from there.

How long would it take for removal once it has been detected?

The HSE needs a 14 day notification which means we submit an ASB5 to notify them that licenced work is proposed to be carried out at your site. This means that once asbestos has been detected and requires removal they will issue approval within 2 weeks. It is also recommended that you stay away from the property until the company you select have cleared the area, abatement has been conducted, and the area has been professionally cleared. The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) can assign an inspector to ensure that asbestos has been completely removed before re-habitation.
